This highly atmospheric, multicultural music festival on the magnificent Tour & Taxis site in Brussels is held June 29th through July 1, 2007. Verdur Rock: Namur is the host of this annual free Rock Festival and Competition. Founded in 1985 and in its 23rd year the competition welcomes all newcomers, non-professional rock, pop and electro bands and their fans. Verdur Rock is held June 30th at the Verdure Theater at the Citadelle of Namur. Shuttle busses run between Namur train station and the Verdure Theater. Namur, the capital of Wallonia, the French speaking part of Belgium, is only a short train ride away from Brussels. MORE

Cactus Festival: Held at the Minnewaterpark (Lake of Love Park) in Bruges this festival embraces Rock, Reggae, Rap, Roots, Raï and R&B in this three day outdoor festival. Since over 20 years the festival programme consistently offers up unusual and interesting bands. Pukkelpop: Annual alternative music event held on the Kiewit Festival Grounds near the town of Hasselt. The 22nd edition of the festival will be held August 16 through 18, 2007. Seven stages will offer a sparkling cocktail of the most diverse genres. Last years lineup included: Radiohead, Placebo, Artic Monkeys, Scissor Sisters, Massive Attack, Daft Punk and Keane to name a few. Lokerse Feesten: Thirty-three years ago a handful of people in Lokeren decided that the town was way too quiet during the summer. The festival lasts ten full days from August 3 through 12, 2007. Rock, Pop, AOR, Hip-hop and Techno fans will converge once again in this small town near Antwerp. Direct train service connects Brussels with Lokeren hourly and the festival grounds are in 5 minutes walking distance from the train station. MORE
