Château de Waroux in Ans March 17 to June 14, 2009

This exhibition commemorating the 35th President of the United States of America is taking place at “Waroux Castle” in Liège from March 17 to June 8, 2009. Liege is located just an hour from Brussels via train, www.b-rail.be. For more information on Liege, www.liege.be

The commemoration, which has received the support of the local authority of Ans as well as the Belgian office for Tourism, Patrimony and Collections, will present JFK Library: a collection of 100 photography about the Kennedy Family Legend,  various objects, documents, books and some of the favourite songs of JFK, audio-visual records of the important moments of Kennedy’s presidency.

The 3rd  Kennedy Golf Trophy will be organized at the Golf Château de la Tournette in Nivelles on Friday, April 10, 2009 with the participation of 80 amateur players.

A flower show and market “Roses et Jardins” will take place May 30th and 31st, 2009 in the park of “Waroux Castle”.

This event will commemorate the 15th anniversary of Jacqueline Kennedy’s death.

Every weekend a tavern (The Kennedy Tavern), will serve some of the favorite recipes of JFK in one of the castle rooms.

A book about the exhibition with 140 photography + legends and 180 pages
