Europe and its 27 member states.
Europalia is presenting great European artists and artworks that have left their mark on two thousand years of history of art.
As always, the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels (BOZAR) will be the hub for the event, staging a prestigious exhibition entitled ‘The Grand Atelier - European art routes (5th – 18th
centuries)’, which will run from October 5, 2007 to February 3, 2008. The exhibition sheds light
on the European history of art by means of exceptional pieces, and includes some 350 works from more than a hundred European collections.
Other cultural institutions are also planning an
exciting programme of exhibitions, music, theatre, dance, films and literature. October 11th to
