Title: Namur en Mai - Fairground Arts Festival (May 28-June 1, 2014)
Namur in May is 300 artists, 40 companies, 200 000 visitors and 80 performances and animations in varied venues: streets, squares, gardens, parks, theatres, Culture House, etc. In Namur from May 28 to June 1, 2014.
Since 1996, the Walloon capital has welcomed artists, professionals and spectators during 4 crazy days of humor and fun-filled shows. This festival was created in order to promote the wittiest and merriest street acrobats and performers. It is one of the three biggest cultural events in the French-speaking community.
This year about 80 shows and attractions have been programmed on all types of sites: streets, squares, gardens, parks, theatres, Maison de la Culture, following a rigorous staging and tight schedule. Artists coming from Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, England and Italy will entertain you with circus, puppet, jugglery, tales, fairground shows and much more. Everyday closes with a “Fairground Cabaret” with magic shows and concerts.
May 28-June 1,2014 from 1pm to 3am
Shows begin on time and it is suggested to arrive 20 minutes early.
