200th Anniversary of the Birth Adolphe Sax 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo Brussels Flower Carpet

The town of Dinant is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone. Dinant will be celebrating with jazz nights and an international competition. The reenactment of the Battle of Waterloo will take place outside of from June 18 to 21, 2015. This unique historical event will involve thousands of international actors taking part in the last Napoleonic battle. Visitors can experience this historical military performance and witness the battle that changed the shape of Europe.

From August 14 to 17, 2014, millions of flowers will cover the majestic Grand Place - a famous UNESCO site.
