In Belgium  

Atelier Cuisine

Located in Fosses (50 minutes from Brussels), Le Castel is an entirely renovated 19th century manor house with contemporary design. Owner & chef Jean Luis Mathy offers overnight packages including cooking lessons using regional products. Other activities offered: beer tastings, visit of regional produce, chocolate workshops, and going to the market with the chef.

Avanti Destinations

This Bruges Cooking Program by Avanti Destinations includes cooking lessons by award-winning chefs at Patrick Devos' Silver Peacock restaurant in Bruges, a four-course gourmet dinner, four nights accommodations (two nights in Brussels and two nights in Bruges), and train tickets from Brussels to Bruges.

Atelier Yves Mattagne Bierges

Located in Bierge, between Brussels and Namur, they offer a variety of cooking courses, wine tastings and cigar lessons. For companies and private groups, they also organize special events where the participants have a cooking course followed by a gourmet meal with accompanying wines.

Basil & Co

Cooking classes can be organized in the restaurant of Andre d'Haese. This elegant restaurant is located in a unique historical setting on the prestigious Avenue Louise in Brussels. Additional options include appetizer tasting and wine tasting in the wine cellar.

Marriott Brussels Midtown Grill

This newly opened eatery (April 2007) is an American version of a grill restaurant, featuring an open show kitchen which is ideal for cooking classes. The cooking class includes a three-course dinner and 1/2 bottle of wine per person.

In addition to evening cooking classes they also offer a ''Day with a Belgian chef,'' wine-tasting courses and tailor-made events for private or corporate groups.

Hotel Sanglier des Ardennes
Located in the town of Durbuy, they organize 3 hour cooking courses the first Saturday of each month with varying themes depending on the season. Included: cooking lesson, meal, recipe of each dish, and wine. They also organize private cooking lesson for groups of 15-20 persons. The cost is 50 Euro per person.

International Culinary School of Bruges

The seminars, led by a team of top-level master chefs, cover a variety of topics, including Belgian beer, desserts with the world-famous Belgian chocolate, visits to interesting restaurants, pastry and chocolate shops, with sight-seeing tours and guest lectures given by first-rate Belgian chefs.

Kook Klasse

Located in Sint Job in't Goor in Flanders, they offer cooking classes with fresh and natural ingredients. They also provide instructions on how to decorate a table beautifully and in harmony with the dining room.

Hostellerie Lafarque

Located in Pepinster in the Ardennes, the restaurant in this hotel is led by Master chef Michel Lafarque.

L'Orangerie

Located in Braine-le-Château, this facility holds cooking classes for both beginners and experienced cooks. Each class begins with a lesson in ingredients & nutrition. Cookbooks and recipes used in the class are in French.

Located in Olen.

Quartier Latin

Located in a 4-star hotel in a former church in Marche En Famenne. Participants choose a course and receive a recipe with some guidance from the chef. Aperitifs are enjoyed in the kitchen before sitting in the restaurant for the meal, served by a team of waiters. Available for groups of up to 20. Meeting and banquet rooms up to 300 people.

L'Auberge du Sabotier

Located in Awenne, near Saint Hubert.  Top class Belgian cuisine, also wine tastings.

Spermalie

Located in Bruges, it is a renowned  hotel and tourism school.


In the US

 

Miette Culinary Studio

Along with a staff of professional chefs, classically-trained Belgian chef Paul Vandewoude, formerly of West Village restaurants Tartine and Titou, teaches professional techniques and shares his most popular recipes with the class in hands-on sessions. Students learn and prepare recipes, and dine together at the end of each class.

Worldchefs

Based in California, Chef Suzanne a Belgian native, demonstrates how to prepare authentic Belgian dishes, such as Cream of Endive Soup, Belgian Fries with real Mayonnaise, Tomate aux Crevettes (shrimp with tomatoes), Belgian waffles, Belgian chocolate mousse and so much more.
