100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF TINTIN CREATOR HERGE: Belgium will mark the birth of Tintin's creator Herge (Georges Remi, or RG) with a Tintin fresco greeting visitors arriving at Brussels South station. The unveiling of the fresco will take place on January 10, 2007 to coincide with the official 'birth' day of Tintin, in 1029 in the paper Le Petit Vingtieme.
