1-16	Brussels	LATE OPENINGS AT BRUSSELS MUSEUMS: An autumn tradition, the Late Openings at Brussels Museums lets visitors explore at least five museums every Thursday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. accompanied by a program of special activities, such as guided tours, stories and demonstrations.
21-30	Brussels	55RD ANTIQUES AND FINE ARTS FAIR: Combining quality with prestige, this superb antiques fair is a must for art lovers. The show attracts antiquities, Oceanic art, African art, Oriental art, silver, furniture and works of art from the 'Haute Epoque' to the 20th century. Open daily from 11am to 7pm. The intense 10-day programme will give the public the opportunity to see musicians from different parts of the world, musicians on tour, musicians there to present their latest album or simply to pay a tribute to Pierre Van Dormael without whom the Belgian Jazz scene surely have been quite different.

25-27	Sohier	SPECIAL BEER FESTIVAL: For three days, more than 130 different beers, many of which originating from traditional production and some " exotic " beers, are presented. Along the years this event has grown considerably and it attracts more visitors every year (1200 to 1500). On Saturday there will be a exchange fair.
26	Brussels	MUSEUM NIGHT FEVER: An enchanted evening of exhibitions, music, performances, and workshops at 20 of the most prominent museums in Brussels. Shuttles are available for busing across the city. This night of fun is ends with an after party at BOZAR going until 3am!

TBA	Brussels	AFFORDABLE ART FAIR BRUSSELS: Following success in London, Bristol, New York, Sydney, Melbourne, Amsterdam and Paris the AAF comes to Tour et Taxis in Brussels. The fair focuses on first time buyers as well as seasoned collectors, inviting them to browse without pressure through a huge variety of contemporary paintings, prints, photgraphs and sculptures all priced between €100 and €5000, from a selection of local and international galleries representing over 300 known and emerging artists.

TBA	Charleroi	CARNIVAL OF CHARLEROI: Carnival has been celebrated joyfully in Charleroi for over a century now. Animated carnival with its own characteristic style: giants mingle with "Gilles" and majorettes. Family fun and ideal for kids.

4-13	Brussels	ANIMA 2011: The International Animated Film Festival of Brussels takes place at the Flagey center. Over 100 films are featured in the competition, including student films. There are also workshops for kids interested in learning about animation and many more exciting opportunities planned!
6-8	Binche	CARNIVAL OF BINCHE: This world famous Carnival, now on the UNESCO world heritage list , dates back to the 16th century. The colorful celebration attracts thousands of visitors and is highlighted by Mardi Gras, an event not to be missed.
20-31	Brussels	ARS MUSICA: Also known as "the spring of contemporary music", the Ars Musica festival has carved out a reputation as a real reference event for contemporary music. Every year, the festival brings together works by composers who are writing the sounds and scores of tomorrow. Begins March 20, continuting until March 31.
26-29	Brussels	PASSAPORTA FESTIVAL: A three-day festival celebration literature that features the multicultural and cosmopolitan life in Brussels.
TBA	Arlon	CARNIVAL OF ARLON : Various activities and traditions are performed. Main traditions are like handing keys to the prince of carnival.
TBA	Brussels	BRUSSELS BOOK FAIR: The Brussels Book Fair at Tour & Taxis is a hive of activity, with thousands of publishers presenting their latest offerings. More than 700 authors are on hand to sign their works and there are debates, conferences and workshops.

TBA	Stavelot	CARNIVAL DU LAETARE:The Blancs Moussis festivities and parade. A particularly joyful experience is the tossing of confetti by the ton at virtually anything that moves; motorized cannons shoot confetti at the crowds and with skillful aim also target second floor flats along the parade route.
TBA	Brussels	EURANTICA: The Eurantica fine art and antiques fair at Brussels Expo offers upper-class bargain hunting on a continental scale, with dealers from all over Europe. More than 150 dealers from France, Spain, Holland, Britain, Italy and Germany, carefully selected by a committee of experts, display jewellery, oriental ceramics, tapestry, textiles, religious icons, musical instruments, engravings, pre-Colombian art, Art Déco, Art Nouveau, sculpture, paintings, furniture... the list of precious objects is endless.
TBA	Mons	DUCASSE OF MESSINES: Known as one of the oldest events of this type in Hainaut, the "ducasse" of Messines has been able to keep the charm and traditional appeal of old times in the guise of a flower market. Every year enormous crowds invade this section of the town of Mons, and the antique toys that can be discovered still find, as once before, favour in the eyes of the public
TBA	Brussels	SPRING OF SCIENCE: Numerous activities are open to schools during the week, while during the weekend families will enjoy themselves. This weekend of scientific activities is aimed at everyone, young and old. Its aim is to popularize the scientific world by means of educational and playful animations.
TBA	Brussels	THE BAROQUE SPRING OF THE SABLON: There is no better location for this week-long Baroque festival than the beautiful public and private premises in and around Place du Grand Sablon. In March, the buildings ring to the soaring music of Corelli, Handel, Pergolesi, Couperin and Marais. The festival encourages young talent to perform at afternoon concerts and to participate in workshops at the Conservatoire.

1-2	Tournai	CARNIVAL OF TOURNAI : The large carnival of Tournai based on creativity and imagination is a theme festival. The carnival includes show, Masked Ball (activities for children, tributes...) and Great Ball at la Halle-aux-Draps.

22	Tournai	BIG ANNUAL FLOWER MARKET:The flower market starts at 8 AM and continues throughout the day until 6 PM. More than one hundred horticulturists take part in this sumptuous multi-coloured market which goes as far back as 1825. Concert by the royal wind band of the Tournai firemen.

TBA	Gouvy	GOUVY JAZZ-BLUES FESTIVAL: The Gouvy Festival is one of the oldest jazz festivals of Belgium and has welcomed many big names in past years. Many famous jazz musicians have given an international dimension to this extraordinary festival. It takes place in the Ardennes countryside, on the estate of the Madelonne farm. Friday and Saturday are devoted to jazz and Sunday to blues. The mix of quietness and quality music gives the Ardennes even more colour.

TBA	Dinant	29h INTERNATIONAL BATHTUB REGATTA: This hilarious competition on the River Meuse starts in the afternoon. Admission is free.
TBA	Chassepierre	ARTIST FESTIVAL OF CHASSEPIERRE-INTERNATIONAL STREET ARTS FESTIVAL: During two days, the whole town is put in a whirl by the arrival of some 200 nomadic artists who have chosen to live outside and who turn it completely into a theatre. Chassepierre is the oldest festival of this kind in Europe.
TBA	Ath	GOUYASSE VESPERS & PROCESSION OF THE GIANTS (FAIR) - DUCASSE OF ATH: This remarkable event dates back to the fifteenth century and presents the Giants of Ath to the public. One of these giants is no other than the renowned Gouyasse, (Goliath). The following day the spectacular traditional cortège will take place. A magnificent parade featuring the giants of the town in the company of floats and a multitude of different groups. A real crowd puller.

All month	Brussels	MIDIS-MINIMES FESTIVAL: Like every year, the Midis-Minimes Festival offers you a concert of about 40 minutes every weekday in Brussels Minimes Church and the Conservatory. Diversified festival with traditional music on Monday, old on Tuesday, 18th century music on Wednesday, contemporary music on Thursday, and 19th century music on Friday. Discover new repertoires, composers, artists, instruments... At the same time, 3 cycles are devoted to instruments in general: women's voices, the piano and some "curiosities".
